We have an experience in teaching English language for the last fifty-five years. Since our inception, we have been teaching English for all levels of English learners, be it for examinations or for self improvement.
Let us see the reasons why people learn English throughout the world. British Council says that a billion people are learning English now and it is increasing daily.

English has official or special status in at least seventy five countries with a total population of 2 Billion.

English is spoken as a first language by around 375 million people and used as a second language by another 400 million people.

Speakers of English as a second language probably outnumber those who speak as a first language.

About 750 million people are believed to speak English as a foreign language.

According te the British Council, 1.5 billion people are learning English now and it will be 2 billions in the next decade.

Further to the above, people also learn English for the following reasons:

English is the most commonly used language among foreign language speakers. When people of different languages, culture, race or religion meet, the common language used among them is English.

English is the mother tongue for about 400 million people around the world and 60 countries in the world has made it a first language or the 2nd language in their countries.

English is the language of Science and technology. Due to British and American domination in world affairs in the last century, English is being used worldwide as a means of communication.

Approximately, 55% of all written content on the internet is in English. That means that if you can read in English, you will have more access to information than your non-English speaking peers. Also, with the increase in popularity of Facebook, Twitter and You tube; as well as other social media sites, the possibility of Native English speakers and non-Native speakers interacting has greatly increased.

English is the language of the United Nations and it is the language used diplomats and in diplomatic communications. In today’s world, if you are proficient in English, you are able to Meet and communicate with more People, be it where you live, at work, online or wherever you go. Being able to speak multiple languages often gives you more opportunities in life and work than just speaking one language.

To keep your present job or to get a better job opportunity if you increase your English proficiency in speaking and writing better English than others will be your best advantage. A better speaker could always do a fast sale of any product due to his/her conversational skills.

To enroll in a better school or University around the world the basic requirement is always a good Spoken and Written English.

For social Status in some countries, speaking English fluently is highly regarded and sought after. This means that there are not many people that do speak English well and when they do, they stand out. When you learn to speak English fluently, you may find that other people think highly of you and your English speaking skills.

The importance of learning English cannot be overstated in an increasingly interconnected and globalized world. Learning to communicate in English is important to enter and ultimately succeed in mainstream English speaking countries. Working knowledge of the English language can create many opportunities in international markets.

English is the main language of books, newspapers, airports and air-traffic control, international business and academic conferences, science, technology, diplomacy, sport, international competitions, pop music and advertising. Over two-thirds of the world's scientists read in English. Three quarters of the world's mail is written in English. 80% of the world's electronically stored information is in English.
