Shamian Island is a 5A tourist spot in Guangzhou City. Key attractions include the Pearl River White Goose Lake, historical heritage protection area, Lude Catholic Church, the Soviet Consulate and others. Official records shows an average of 5,000 tourists per day.

Government has engaged Dayang to construct a 480 lots automated carpark in Shamian Island, designated to be the only large public carparks within the island. Total construction cost approx. RMB40m, operational in mid Sept 2019.

Project targets to generate revenue of RMB30m with an EBITDA of RMB17m per annum. Government is open for AAP to acquire the project for cost plus slight premium.

Secured Project Flow

In the midst of forming a JV with Guangzhou City Liwan District government, to identify sites that are suitable for automated carpark to resolve the parking shortage issues.

Liwan District is an important business and tourist hub of Guangzhou, highly dense area with land of around 62km2 and population of 740,000 people.

We have identified more than 20 sites with potential to build automated carparks, and now conducting detail studies.

With the JV, the Funds will have the first rights to invest into these projects, government will contribute by leasing the land to the JV and eliminate the needs for open tender.
